Wild poplar mirror

Two boards of solid wood of the wild poplar embrace a mirror, creating a contrast between rough and smooth, imperfect and perfect, warm and cold. The jagged edges of the wood suggest two rocky walls eroded by the passage of a reflecting river, giving life to unrepeatable shapes.
